Not Remotely Waterproof
7Mesh market this jacket as suitable for a range of conditions. As a mountain biker and gravel cyclist living in Scotland, I’m not sure what conditions this jacket is suitable for. The fabric is not remotely waterproof and becomes saturated with water when wet.
I appreciate the jacket is not marketed as waterproof, but I think the marketing blurb levels some ambiguity abouts its waterproof credentials (I can confirm it has none). To make matters worse other third-party shops are marketing it as waterproof. To conclude; this jacket has no waterproof credentials and I don’t think 7Mesh adequately explain this in their marketing blurb. Otherwise a nice cut and looks cool.

Almost there
This jacket is almost great. The material is nice for winter riding in cold, mucky, or light rain days. It breathes pretty well for being highly water resistant. It's flattering too, the fit is really nice and it looks cool. However, there are two big cons. The hood doesn't really fit over my size medium helmet and the StashSystem is poorly executed. I wish it stuffed longer more like a burrito rather than the square shape this jacket ends up in. It is too big to go under the top tube and I find storing on the bars to be awkward. For $300 I'd expect all this stuff sorted, but it's so close.

No room for elbow pads
Wanted one of these ever since the grit pants turns out to be my favorite 7Mesh item. The anorak fits pretty well but the arms are just too tight for elbow pads. Mine are TLD Raid, not anything bulky for bike park. Huge bummer for using this for regular trail rides. The stash system works brilliantly as usual though.
