Kutcher threatens to stop Twittering

According to CNN, Ashton Kutcher has threatened to stop Twittering after co-founder Biz Stone revealed Twitter has partnered with Reveille and Brillstein Entertainment to collaborate on a TV show to Variety magazine. The show, which is unscripted, would be "putting ordinary people on the trail of celebrities in a revolutionary competitive format" according to Biz Stone.

Mr. Kutcher has 2 million Twitter followers, which one could speculate could generate enough bad PR to hurt Twitter pretty badly. Read more about his tweets on CNN.com. Some excerpts:

"Wow I hope this isn’t true. I really don’t like being sold out. May have to take a twitter hiatus."

Demi Moore, Mr. Kutcher’s wife, also threatened to shut down her Twitter account:

"I hope this isn’t true — if it is, our Twitter time may come to a quick and sad end!" Moore tweeted Monday.

If you are a fan of Family Guy or American Dad, you’re familiar with the awesomeness that is Seth McFarlane. But did you know he has his own website at sethcomedy.com? As with all of McFarlane’s comedy antics, his characters are funny, stupid, profane, sometimes enlightening, and did we mention funny? According to the 2009 Webby Awards site, Seth McFarlane wins Film + Video Person of the Year for his work with sethcomedy.com and distribution in Google’s content network:

Looks like the ladies over at mstaken.com have decided to offer up a response to last year’s smash SNL Digital Short, “Jizz in my Pants” by Lonely Island (Fred Armisen and Andy Samberg of SNL) in like kind: by going digital. The new digital short is called “Puke in my Mouth” and shows off a giant but convincing fake diamond engagement ring (available for sale at their site, of course) as a way to keep the drunk losers off:

The freaks come out at night. They glom onto your elbow, disrupt your conversations and worst of all, they freeze out the real hot prospects.

In an interview with Christianity Today, Joe “the Plumber” Wurzelbacher had some choice opinions on homosexuals (emphasis mine):

Q: In the last month, same-sex marriage has become legal in Iowa and Vermont. What do you think about same-sex marriage at a state level?
A: At a state level, it’s up to them. I don’t want it to be a federal thing. I personally still think it’s wrong. People don’t understand the dictionary—it’s called queer. Queer means strange and unusual. It’s not like a slur, like you would call a white person a honky or something like that. You know, God is pretty explicit in what we’re supposed to do—what man and woman are for. Now, at the same time, we’re supposed to love everybody and accept people, and preach against the sins. I’ve had some friends that are actually homosexual. And, I mean, they know where I stand, and they know that I wouldn’t have them anywhere near my children. But at the same time, they’re people, and they’re going to do their thing.

Not a slur? Really? Come on, Joe. You wouldn’t call a black guy the n-word to his face, would you? Run for your lives, kids, QUEERS!

Excuse me, your myopic and ignorant worldview is showing, jackass.

TMZ.com is reporting that deceased rapper Tupac Shakur was spotted ‘drinking hand grenades on Bourbon Street in New Orleans’, with a grainy side-shot photo of a man who apparently looks a lot like Tupac Shakur:

If you’re a baseball fan, the MLB High Def Streaming Baseball package MLB.TV Premium is one of the best Internet applications for a professional sports fan ever at just $19.95 a month. It looks to be at least 1080i HD. The NCAA March Madness streaming through CBS.com was also excellent, but the quality of the broadcast with MLB.TV is as if I were watching it on my HDTV. Just look at this sequence of Mike Fontenot of the Cubs hitting a two run homer against Arizona tonight:
